In Memoriam

I just found out today that our neighbour from where we used to live died just a few days before Alexander was born. I'd always meant to ask his son to let us know if anything happened to him, because he was quite elderly - but apparently his son died a month before he did... I would have liked to go to the funeral, but perhaps it's best I didn't know since I had a newborn baby at the time.

George was a wonderful neighbour. Since there's really no family I can send my sympathies to and it's far too late for the funeral - I thought I'd upload this rose for him.

Here's to George Povey, OBE - he was a gentleman.
